In my opinion (which holds as much water as a wet piece of toilet paper), the Commodore 128/128D is one of the best 8-bit computers ever made. You can tell the entire world agrees with me because they made a plethora of software to take advantage of all the neat hardware that’s built into it. Oh wait, they haven’t. Bummer.

Another thing I’ve noticed in the C64 scene, is that now that we have the tools to do it, people are starting to back up original disks to G64 mode so you can make original disk images, i.e., not cracked if so desired. There’s not much of a cracking scene on the 128, but I think it’s still it’s important to start backing up C128 originals if at all possible.

The plan for this unfinished project is to collect G64s of original titles, as well as D64s, manuals and scans for all commercially-available Commodore 128 software.  Wish me luck.  Or wish us luck – if you’d like to contribute your -own- scans and disk images, please hit me up in the contact area.  Please don’t send me someone else’s files – I’d rather not take their work away from them.
